Vast is Hiring a Recruiting Operations Specialist Near Long Beach, CA

Vast is looking for a(n) Recruiting Operations Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager of Recruiting, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. As a Recruiting Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing our recruiting processes and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from application to onboarding. You will collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows, leverage technology, and implement best practices to attract, assess, and onboard top talent.

This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Optimize and automate recruiting workflows, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer management.
  • Develop and maintain recruiting metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of job descriptions, interview guides, and other recruiting collateral.
  • Conduct research and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruiting operations and technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between recruiting efforts and organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience working in Recruiting Operations at a rapidly growing company

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, greenhouse etc)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members at all levels.

Pay Range

  • Recruiting Operations Specialist I: $66,000-$95,000
  • Recruiting Operations Specialist II: $100,000 - $144,000
